5 minute video showing a dynamic lookup using some of the techniques for dynamic browses from Glenn Rathke’s training class.
If you type in a valid branch code, it links it up and your done
If you type in a partial name instead then it does a like statement to find matching records, if it finds only 1 then it links it up and your done
If it finds multiple records it pops up a selection list for you to select from.
The select screen is generic and displays what ever records and values you need. Its a very handy way to have a lookup without doing a bunch of traditional browse screens

The source code for this, along with my Browse Form Manager, Default Manager and Business Rules class are all being releases as part of the US WX Devcon. We are building a complete Windows/Web/Mobile application suite for a nonprofit and between now and November attendees are able to attend webinars and watch over our shoulders and participate in the development. The entire source code of the application, with all the supporting classes, etc. And all of the video training will be provide to the attendees at the conference.
